2)      Answer questions about Speaking Final for Group 1 and talk about LMC assignment for Group 2 on Wed. Distribute info. about speaking exam (1/2 sheet), show grading rubric for Speaking Exam

3)      Quick discussion of film—what is happening now?

4)      Finish film?

5)      HW:  Group 1—be ready for Speaking Exam on Wed.


12/2/14  

1)      Give directions for Group 2 in LMC tomorrow.

2)      Sign-out Bonjour Magazine articles for final reading/writing exam.  Review directions for exam.

3)      Finish film!

4)      Speed Speaking w/ Les Choristes prompts

5)     HW:  Group 1 Speaking Final tomorrow!  Group 2 meet in the LMC tomorrow-- STAY in the LMC, do the work!

1)      Group 1-  Final Speaking Exam

2)      Group 2-  Reading and active studying activities in the LMC.  DO NOT leave the LMC!

3)      HW:  Essay Quiz on the film “Les Choristes” on Friday.


12/5/14  Friday

1)      Warm-up with a partner: discuss the movie and other art posters hanging in the classroom.  Share as a group

2)      Quiz- Les Choristes- essay (don’t take if you have missed enough of the film that you don’t feel you know the characters)

3)      Review and practice w/ qui and que- relative pronouns (whole class explanation, indiv. pract w/ dictated sent’s on wh. bds)

4)      If time, work on ‘dont’, CT3 p. 232, and practice w/ Act. 11, p. 234

5)      HW:  Group 2—prep for speaking exam Wed.




12/8/14    Substitute Teacher

1)      Warm-up: With a partner, pronounce the new vocab. (Vocab. 2 from your list, or pp 322-323). Help each other out!

2)      Individually, do the crossword puzzle w/ new vocab.(yes, there ARE spaces between the words)

3)      If time, everybody practices speaking to help Group 2 get ready for their speaking final exam Wed.

4)      HW:  Group 2- Speaking Exam Wed.

12/9/14  

1)      Review and pronounce new Vocab. 2, speaking practice—Qu’est-ce que tu prefers?  Pourquoi?

2)      Review and practice w/ qui and que- relative pronouns (whole class explanation, indiv. pract w/ dictated sent’s on wh. bds)

3)      Work more on ‘dont’, CT3 p. 232, and practice w/ Act. 11, p. 234

4)      HW:  Due Friday-  be prepared for your Writing Final Exam!  FOR MONDAY (change of due date) Write a good paragraph about the type(s) of music you prefer, explaining why.  Don’t just list songs and artists!  Write about the style of music.

12/10/14  

1)      Group 2: Speaking Final Exam

2)      Group 1: in the LMC to do independent reading and make a study guide for the rest of the final

3)      HW:  Final Writing Exam due on Friday, Paragraph about music now due on MONDAY 12/15.

3)      HW: Review/study grammar and vocab. for the last portion of the final exam next week
