3/12/15 

1)      Warm-up: intro./review ‘porter’- talk about the colors you are wearing

2)      Check and discuss HW:  worksheet (GV pp 47-48)

3)      Review seasons and months- do listening activity 1, p. 152, and 12 p. 157

4)      Speaking practice:  using a picture (Ch4, p. 11 Nouveaux copains Au Québec), brainstorm as a whole group (name the people), then with a partner, talk about the picture, then whole group shares.

5)      Review ‘faire’- conjugate on wh. bds. using large ‘die’ for pronouns

6)      HW: None


3/13/15 Friday 

1)      Brainstorm question words on p. 156 without looking, place on the board.  Q & A w/ Mme S’s questions- tell your partner what the question word means, then answer.  Answer as whole group.

2)      Survey: Activity 5 p. 153 (textbk)- write each activity on a wh. bd., circulate around the class and ask 10 people which sport they prefer.  Gather the data as a class, decide on which equipment the sports club should buy.

3)      HW due Mon.: TEXTBOOK p. 156 Act. 13, AND p.158 Act. 17.  Answer in complete sentences, and be sure to conjugate ‘faire’ correctly!


3/16/15  Monday 

1)      Check and discuss HW:  Textbook p. 156 Act. 13, and p. 158 Act. 18

2)      Pass back and discuss graded Ch. 4 tests

3)      HW due Tues:  Write out the numbers 60-93



3/17/15  Tuesday 

1)      Poll kids re: AP tests- when will they be gone?

2)      New vocab.:  using the photos Mme S. shows, create a life for the people shown.  What do they like to do or play for fun?

3)      Check and discuss hw: writing out the numbers 60-93,  game w/ spelling numbers as teams of 3-4 and whiteboards

4)      If time, review –ger and –cer verbs-  practice on slips of paper w/ verbs from Ch. 4

5)      No HW


3/20/15 

1)      Crossword puzzle w/ Vocab. 1 from Ch. 5 of Bien Dit 1. Do individually, turn-in. 15 points, classwork.

2)      If time, continue w/ film from yesterday, ‘Up’

3)      No HW


3/31/15 Tues.

 1)      Warm-up:  review ‘faire’ and expressions w/ faire: Q & A w/ Mme S’s questions:  Normalement, pendant les vacances, est-ce que tu/vous/il/elles, etc. w/ partner orally.

2)      Intro. vocab. p. 162

3)      Intro. irr. verb ‘aller’-  ‘vvvvroom!’—practice w/ places you know already: au parc, au cinéma, à la bibliothèque, à l’école, au lycée, au stade, and new vocab.  Practice w/ wh. bds- write what Mme S. says.

4)      HW due Thurs.:  Write 9 sentences using all the forms of aller, about where people go/are going/do go (present tense)
