2)      Intro. spelling change verbs as reflexive verbs, ‘secher’, s’appeler, se lever.  Review spelling change verbs in general, show on board w/ boots,

3/17/15 Tuesday 

1)      Poll kids re: AP tests- when will they be gone?

2)      Check and discuss HW: WB p. 54- no partial credit!

3)      Warm-up: review ‘ça fait…que’, ‘il y a …que’, and depuis to express how long a person has been doing something.  Remember to use the present tense (not the p.c., like in English)! Follow Mme’s prompts.

4)      Review spelling-change verbs sécher, lever, appeler, and their reflexives: se sécher, se lever, s’appeler.  Practice w/ wh. bds., both reflexive and not- follow Mme S’s prompts.

5)      No HW


3/19/15  Sub. Teacher  Thurs. Block 

1)      Independent Reading: read for 20 minutes, fill out reading log(s) for what you read.  Turn-in.

2)      Review verbs and practice: recevoir, suivre, and intro. ouvrir. Worksheet packet.  Turn-in.

3)      Assignment: On a sheet of computer paper, students should make an 8 box storyboard.  In each box, draw yourself in your morning routine.  Write the time in French in words, and the activity you do, along with your drawing.  Turn-in.  16 points- classwork category.

4)      Watch Tintin- In French with English subtitles

5)      No HW

3/31/15 Tues.

1)      Announce quiz Friday- Ch. 5 Vocab. 1, reflexive verbs in the present tense, and ‘tout’

2)      Warm up: Your morning routine. Sing song, then tell your neighbor your routine.

3)      Intro./review spelling change verbs like: sécher, lever, appeler, and their reflexives: se sécher, se lever, s’appeler. Practice w/ wh. boards, both reflexive and not- follow Mme’s prompts.1)      Make sure you know when to make the verb reflexive (something you do to yourself), and when you are doing it to someone/something else. “I brush my teeth”, I brush the dog.

4)      HW: worksheet- write 10 sentences using words in boxes (Kubin)
