Lesson Goal: To listen, WWII history


1)    Youtube and storybook, WWII
2)    Thumper, contes de fées vocab. (make cards – two per person ?)
3)    HW due Mon.:  Look for and listen to African pop music.  In French, write a paragraph about which music you found, where, what it is about, and what you like or don’t like about it, to turn in.  We will listen to it in class in the coming weeks, and you will explain what you wrote about it to the class.

  3. HW due Tues.: poem- p. 163 Personnages (find on website).  Be ready to discuss w/ question #’s 1-5.

Lesson Goal:To continue to talk about immigrants from Africa to France

  1. Pre-read and discuss poem to read for next class as hw: “Je suis venu chercher du travail”.
  2. Le subjonctif—Read the list on p. 163, alternating students who make a sentence w/ each one, imagining a conversation between Ahmed and Latifa (from yesterday)
  3. Pass back tests from last week and discuss errors
  4. HW:  Projects are due on Friday!!
